Two years since a mysterious sleeping disorder in Siberia picked up steam, doctors appear to be no closer to figuring out why residents of a remote area in Kazakhstan are falling asleep without warning for days at a time, according to reports from the Siberian Times.
The ailment has affected hundreds people living nearby a uranium mine in the Kazakh village of Kalachi. The town’s residents will fall asleep suddenly for a period lasting from two to six days and wake up with memory loss.
Experts have conducted thousands of tests on patients as well as on local soil and water to determine the cause of the disorder but have come to few conclusions, according to the Siberian Times. Despite the location, tests have not found high radiation levels.
Sergei Lukashenko, the director of Kazakhstan’s National Nuclear Centre’s Radiation Safety and Ecology Institute, told the Siberian Times that he is “positive this is not radon” and speculated that carbon monoxide may contribute to the problem.
“We have some suspicions as the village has a peculiar location and weather patterns frequently force chimney smoke to go down instead of up,” he said. Carbon monoxide is a key contaminant in smoke.
Many of the town’s residents have left the village and officials say that it will be closed off in May. A Russian professor investigating the ailment told Newsweek earlier this month that it could spread."

You can't destroy the ionosphere. The only way to do that would be to take away the atmosphere. The ionosphere is just a reaction to sunlight on the atmosphere(specifically UV). There is basically no ionosphere on the night side of the earth.

US$, Wars & Earthquakes

At the end of WWII, an agreement was reached at the Bretton Woods Conference which pegged the value of gold at US$35 per ounce and that became the international standard against which currency was measured. But in 1971, US President Richard Nixon took the US$ off the gold standard and ever since the US$ has been the most important global monetary instrument, and only the US can print them. However, there were problems with this arrangement not least of all that the US$ was effectively worthless than before it reneged on the gold-standard. But more importantly because it was the world’s reserve currency, everybody was saving their surpluses in US$. To maintain the US$’s pre-eminence, the Richard Nixon administration impressed upon Saudi Arabia and therefore Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC) to sell their oil only in US$. This did two things; it meant that oil sales supported the US$ and also allowed the USA access to exchange risk free oil. The USA propagates war to protect its oil supplies, but even more importantly, to safeguard the strength of the US$. The fear of the consequences of a weaker US$, particularly higher oil prices is seen as underlying and explaining many aspects of the US foreign policy, including the Iraq and Libyan War.
The reality is that the value of the US$ is determined by the fact that oil is sold in US$. If the denomination changes to another currency, such as the euro, many countries would sell US$and cause the banks to shift their reserves, as they would no longer need US$ to buy oil. This would thus weaken the US$ relative to the euro. A leading motive of the US in the Iraq war -- perhaps the fundamental underlying motive, even more than the control of the oil itself -- is an attempt to preserve the US$ as the leading oil trading currency. Since it is the USA that prints the US$, they control the flow of oil. Period. When oil is denominated in US$ through US state action and the US$ is the only fiat currency for trading in oil, an argument can be made that the USA essentially owns the world's oil for free. Now over $1.3 trillion of newly printed US$ by US Federal Reserve is flooding into international commodity markets each year.
So long as almost three quarter of world trade is done in US$, the US$ is the currency which central banks accumulate as reserves. But central banks, whether China or Japan or Brazil or Russia, do not simply stack US$ in their vaults. Currencies have one advantage over gold. A central bank can use it to buy the state bonds of the issuer, the USA. Most countries around the world are forced to control trade deficits or face currency collapse. Not the USA. This is because of the US$ reserve currency role. And the underpinning of the reserve role is the petrodollar. Every nation needs to get US$ to import oil, some more than others. This means their trade targets US$ countries.
Because oil is an essential commodity for every nation, the Petrodollar system, which exists to the present, demands the buildup of huge trade surpluses in order to accumulate US$ surpluses. This is the case for every country but one — the USA which controls the US$ and prints it at will or fiat. Because today the majority of all international trade is done in US$, countries must go abroad to get the means of payment they cannot themselves issue. The entire global trade structure today works around this dynamic, from Russia to China, from Brazil to South Korea and Japan. Everyone aims to maximize US$ surpluses from their export trade.
Until November 2000, no OPEC country dared violate the US$ price rule. So long as the US$ was the strongest currency, there was little reason to as well. But November was when French and other Euroland members finally convinced Saddam Hussein to defy the USA by selling Iraq’s oil-for-food not in US$, ‘the enemy currency’ as Iraq named it, but only in euros. The euros were on deposit in a special UN account of the leading French bank, BNP Paribas. Radio Liberty of the US State Department ran a short wire on the news and the story was quickly hushed.
This little-noted Iraq move to defy the US$ in favor of the euro, in itself, was insignificant. Yet, if it were to spread, especially at a point the US$ was already weakening, it could create a panic selloff of US$ by foreign central banks and OPEC oil producers. In the months before the latest Iraq war, hints in this direction were heard from Russia, Iran, Indonesia and even Venezuela. An Iranian OPEC official, Javad Yarjani, delivered a detailed analysis of how OPEC at some future point might sell its oil to the EU for euros not US$. He spoke in April, 2002 in Oviedo Spain at the invitation of the EU. All indications are that the Iraq war was seized on as the easiest way to deliver a deadly pre-emptive warning to OPEC and others, not to flirt with abandoning the Petro-dollar system in favor of one based on the euro. The Iraq move was a declaration of war against the US$. As soon as it was clear that the UK and the US had taken Iraq, a great sigh of relief was heard in the UK Banks.
First Iraq and then Libya decided to challenge the petrodollar system and stop selling all their oil for US$, shortly before each country was attacked. The cost of war is not nearly as big as it is made out to be. The cost of not going to war would be horrendous for the US unless there were another way of protecting the US$'s world trade dominance. The US pays for the wars by printing US$ it is going to war to protect.
After considerable delay, Iran opened an oil bourse which does not accept US$. Many people fear that the move will give added reason for the USA to overthrow the Iranian regime as a means to close the bourse and revert Iran's oil transaction currency to US$. In 2006 Venezuela indicated support of Iran's decision to offer global oil trade in euro. In 2011 Russia begins selling its oil to China in rubles
6 months before the US moved into Iraq to take down Saddam Hussein, Iraq had made the move to accept Euros instead of US$ for oil, and this became a threat to the global dominance of the US$ as the reserve currency, and its dominion as the petrodollar.
Muammar Qaddafi made a similarly bold move: he initiated a movement to refuse the US$ and the euro, and called on Arab and African nations to use a new currency instead, the gold dinar. Muammar Qaddafi suggested establishing a united African continent, with its 200 million people using this single currency. The initiative was viewed negatively by the USA and the European Union (EU), with French president Nicolas Sarkozy calling Libya a threat to the financial security of mankind; but Muammar Qaddafi continued his push for the creation of a united Africa.
Muammar Gaddafi’s recent proposal to introduce a gold dinar for Africa revives the notion of an Islamic gold dinar floated in 2003 by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, as well as by some Islamist movements. The notion, which contravenes IMF rules and is designed to bypass them, has had trouble getting started. But today Iran, China, Russia, and India are stocking more and more gold rather than US$.

HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It is an ionospheric research program that is jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The HAARP program operates a major Arctic facility, known as the HAARP Research Station. It is located on an US Air Force owned site near Gakona, Alaska. HAARP has the ability to manipulate weather and produce earthquakes. It is capable of directing almost 4 Mega Watts of energy in the 3 to 10 MHz region of the HF band up into the ionosphere. This energy can be bounced off of the ionosphere and directed back down at the earth to create earthquakes. Patents have been applied for discussing such applications. HAARP could potentially be used by adversaries to produce such events.
HAARP based technology is being actively used to emit powerful radio waves that permeate the earth and subsequently cause strong enough oscillations along fault lines of targeted areas to produce earthquakes.
Thigh power radio waves of HAARP can be used to produce such intense vibrations as to cause an earthquake. HAARP based technology can be used to encourage/produce various weather phenomena such as hurricanes, flooding, or drought through manipulation of the ionosphere. Already Russia, China and Venezuela have suggested that a HAARP type technology weapon is capable of such and attack and been used against several countries causing severe destructions in Haiti, Japan, Russia, China, Iran, Chile, New Zealand, Afghanistan, India etc.
What would the probable response be to such an attack be? An armed conflict with the US? Or perhaps something more within reach and even more damaging at this point, the elimination of the Petrodollar system and a subsequent dumping of surplus US$ into the international and US financial markets resulting in the quick collapse of the US$. Attacking these countries with HAARP would destabilize their economies and currencies and to prevent a move away from the US$ and the Petrodollar system.
What about New Zealands earthquakes? I didn't read the whole thing, very long winded, but you are mistaken on two things I did read...for one, the US doesn't print US$'s, the federal reserve does, which is part of an international PRIVATE banking cartel. Secondly OPEC also accepts payment for oil in gold.

Carl Sagan's quote that our world's reliance on technological advances has a problem in that more & more people do not or can not understand it, ended with "sooner or later, this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces”. And that is appropriate advise discussed throughout this documentary. It is a warning that still goes unrecognised and largely ignored. Today we do know enough about the very delicate balance and inter-connectedness of ourselves (the people) and the planet, that much greater 'due diligence' must be required in experimentation. And like statements I often hear, in the realm of scientific evidence that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof", equal protection is at least required in experimentation that pre-supposes risk to Earth's inter-connected systems.In this example, the HAARP people themselves say on the one hand "yes, of course it's safe" and on the other "we really don't know"; there's the problem. This was not a doomsday doc over presented; it did ask some intelligent and reasonable questions. Those questions need answers before any expansion of the research, and the scientific communities need to wake up to the facts that more of us 'lay people' need to have an understanding of what your doing and why, before research goes ahead that risks earth systems.

The sentiments of the wise fellow in regards to the Heinrich Himmler comparison are good, but I'd say a wee bit inaccurate. The general IDEA is a nice, profound statement. But, Himmler was head over heels for what Nazi Germany was doing and he was also involved because it helped to serve/support some of his own obsessions.
I'd say someone like Albert Speer was more so "just following orders" up until a certain point. Then he realized what horrors were going down and bailed. At least then, that gives us hope that those involved, if it's a dangerous project (I don't know much about it), might realize the potential ramifications and cease.

I used capital letters on the word WELLS, so I do not know why you read 'reserves'. Oil wells are man made and does not contain oil so does not need to be found.

Very happy to see this Doc is here, I saw it for the first time maybe 2 weeks ago on YouTube, and it blew my mind. I'll start by saying I'm a strong-minded atheist who agrees with most of what you are saying. The problem here is that nobody has posted a single comment that has anything to really do with religion or god. Even if one or two posts mentions the word 'god', they are not pro-religious comments, as you would see if you just read them.
I also get the feeling you didn't watch this documentary as it has nothing to do with religion or god, but is actually a fascinating look at the 'dangers and benefits of high and low frequencies and of electromagnetic technology' in the ionosphere.
In your attempt to attack and mock others, you come off looking like a fool and a real a*s!
BTW why does US have 2 HAARPS, EU has 2 HAARPS, Russia has one and China has one...so we all research Ionosphere? Why...it is a weapon otherwise we wouldnt need so many of them, and only superpowers have them.
Are most of the posters here from the US? In Russia I was privileged to be involved in the marketing of some very interesting and revolutionary technologies. On e area of interest was what they were doing with frequencies back then in the mid 90's to both discover minerals. These and other applications of frequency devices have been known about for some time.

Wow. That was pretty stupid, and here's why:
Perspective and causality.
Perspective because the energy that HAARP injects into the atmosphere is never discussed in relative terms. How much energy does man, or the sun, or whatever inject into the atmosphere anyway? I would say the worldwide aircraft industry injects quite a bit on a daily basis. Certainly more than 1 GW continually. A solar flare surely injects more than any 6x8 array of man made antennae. But the documentary simply does not address this.
Causality: The whole documentary bombasts "scientists" for messing with planet-wide systems, the alteration of which could cause unknown effects. Ok, I'm fine with that. But the ecologically minded interviewees at once proclaim that HAARP is/can cause all sorts of effects from weather pattern changes to volcanic eruptions, while at the same time saying that these kind of "chaotic" effects can not be understood. That. makes. no. sense. You can't claim changes are at once causally indeterminate AND related to a cause.
Together with fairly base editing tricks to make the scientists look untrustworthy while portraying the environmentalists in serene settings with nice lighting does not help the documentary's message. Keep an open mind, but remain guarded as you watch this film.
Just watched this doc, and I was going to post something about it here. You said exactly what I wanted to say.
I'm not saying that there aren't any potential negatives to HAARP tech (I honestly don't know, and this doc didn't help either), but they seem to blame HAARP on everything in this doc. Here's the thing though. They don't present one shred of proof.
It is all "what if" arguments, hypothesis, and guessing at causality. This is not science. A valid argument rarely if ever starts with "I think". Take note people. This documentary, while entertaining, is JUNK. It's a shame too, because there are valid questions to be asked (some of which were asked in the doc), but the responses given to most of the question posed are answered by people just making stuff up. Remember, just because someone says something is true, doesn't make it so.
You don´'t have a clue about it, but the gov is obviously very aware of its capabilities and its destruction power for military purposes.
So thinking that such a powerful technology could be ¨harmless¨ is rather naive, don´t you think?

This was a good documentary, unfortunately some of the opposition to tesla's haarp was rather tenuous, yes all life, human body and the earth has its own EM field thats obvious, of course 'we' the earth, everything on it and even space is inextricably linked but unless they have actual proof that haarp technology can actually interfere in a detrimental manner then a large fraction of discourses in this doc. are highyl speculative . Furthermore the chaos theory can really be used as an argument for anything, the slightest effect of something could effect 'anything' else inadvertedly. I agree with greg, people are stupid, were just monkeys and we overestimate ourselves, but everything we do is part of nature, its not unnatural because it comes from us and were natural, it all depends upon your political stance, metaphysical opinion etc... on how you think life should be. Hello Vlatco, thank you again for your efforts in this site and very appropriate, intelligent comments Greg . . . I fully subscribe to the introductory statement by N. Tesla. As one who has spent a half life looking intently for signs of unity amidst scientific (or any) institution, (a marriage with quantum metaphysics if you will) the 'snails pace' seems to be picking up somewhat. This said, there will be an unknown level of continuance, by those who would control, to hold back information which is meant to serve the highest good in an evolutionary sense. I love this 'polarized realm'! I'm sure Tesla must have commented to himself, "Hmmm . . . this is quite the planet I've fallen upon! Better give them some alternative example." I can imagine the extent and feel of all those 'cages being rattled' in earlier times. Thomas Edison had his ego infiltrated and it's likely this was to be found nowhere within the genuine intent in Tesla's work!

It's nice to find another site on the web where I can watch documentaries and scare the pants off of myself. The comparison of HAARP to the child of the Manhattan Project, that is a strictly military application of unknown and theoretical energy manipulation are prescient. No, our government of the day didn't blow a hole in the bottom of the ocean and let all the water drain out, or ignite all the oxygen in the atmosphere, but they did conduct continental atmospheric experiments releasing enough radiation to cause between a low figure of 12,000 cases of cancer according to our government, to 500,000 lethal cancer cases, a high figure of my own admittedly pedestrian guesstimation, based on 800,000 soldiers used as an informal control group (ostensibly brought in to be inured to the atomic battlefield) in large scale biological human experimentation, many millions of Americans exposed to high and low levels of fallout, and many thousands of Nevada Test Site workers exposed to varying amounts of radiation. Our government did this in full knowledge of the consequences, having been on the ground within days of both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki detonations to witness the evolving effects from the release of high levels of radiation on humans.
To the best of my knowledge all of the scientists involved in the Manhattan Project believed they were designing a weapon whose principle lethal effect would be blast, and to a man were surprised to eventually learn that they had created a weapon whose principle lethal effect was biological.

He also found that by surging electro magnetic waves into the Earth, the Earth's crust would carry electricity. He could put a wireless lamp in the soil 50 miles from an electrical source and it would light up. He could hold a wireless lamp in his hand, send a certain electrical pulse through the air and the lamp would light up.
He discovered that sending a stronger electrical pulse into the Earth would create EARTHQUAKES.
Nikola Tesla abandoned this project when he discovered the way it could be used for weather manipulation. He went on to create, no joke, a 'death ray' - a particle acceleration device that could fire a single particle so fast that it would gather enough energy to destroy an army of 10,000 from miles away.
