He predicted WWII, the deaths of U.S. presidents, and the turmoil of the 1960s. He prophesied that Israel would become a state 15 years before the event and foretold the Great Depression. Many of his visions seemed to pass unfulfilled, but are now being proven accurate.
His name is Edgar Cayce, and he is sometimes called the other Nostradamus. Throughout the 1930s and ’40s, Cayce was a well-known figure, renowned for his "healing abilities" as well as his prophecies.
Decoding the Past examines the transcriptions of Cayce’s readings to see which of his predictions have come true, which remain unfulfilled, and which may yet be realized.
If you don't believe, why do you even bother watch or read about prophecies? I'm not trying to be curt, just curious since you are quick to challenge the notion.
It would be great if we could link predictions to events BEFORE they happen to warn and save people in catastrophic events. Instead, after new events we search for past predictions to copy and paste them to that event and if the first doesn't fit, we keep searching until we do.

Notice how the speaker presents no evidence (from writings) that Edgar Cayce predicted the second world war or the death of any specific president. It's just not true that CAyce did!
Edgar Cayce spoke about Adolf Hitler prophetically in the mid 1930s in very much respectful terms, never hinting that Hitler would be instrumental in unleashing WW2.
In 1939, Cayce predicted the deaths of two presidents in office:
"You are to have turmoil -- you are to have strife between capital and labor. You are to have a division in your own land, before you have the second of the Presidents that next will not live through his office ... a mob rule!"
President Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office in April 1945. In November 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, when racial tensions in the United States were boiling.
"Unless there is more give and take," Cayce said, "consideration for those who produce, with better division of the excess profits from labor, there must be greater turmoil in the land."
Kennedy was killed during the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement. Great civil and racial unrest followed just as Cayce foresaw.

Foresaw the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler
In January 1934, Cayce predicted that Hitler would rise in power to reign over Germany. In August 1935, Cayce predicted that Hitler would remain in power until it will "come as an overthrow or an outside war."
Your reply is just about the most UNCONVINCING I have ever heard. It is ludicrous! Cayce did not predict the assassination of any presidents. Cayce´s loose prediction about two future presidents not completing their office does not foretell the deaths of Roosevelt (died 1945 in office) and Kennedy (assasssinated 1968 in office). It is silly and unwarranted to make your association. And their deaths was not associated with "mob rule" either.
You are being very selective with your Cayce quotation about Hitler. And he did NOT predict that Hitler would be instrumental in provoking a world war. Do an honest search on CAYCE with HITLER, and you will find that Cayce was very ignorant about the real threat that Hitler posed to the world. Cayce was quite positive about Hitler and his leadership.
J.F.K died in 1963 not 1968. His brother Bobby died in 1968. If your going to refute something have your facts straight.
check out the story that the oil industry killed him...he was about to sign and implement an electric car policy....IN THE 60's!! Death to all who take away oil money!! Obviously a deal....
Mother Shipton's "prophecies" have already been debunked. The verses were written in the 1930s and fraudulently attibuted to her.

This is scratching the surface. There are and have been those who had sacred wisdom and knowledge that science was too narrow-minded to even consider.
Love this stuff. I have a friend, and older woman who is a channel and has been helping people in a similar way for over 5 decades. You can give her a name, she can tell you what kind of person they are. She can see physical problems, like Edgar Cayce was described as a "human x-ray".
Edgar himself and all people who have these abilities and knowledge say that we all can learn to do these things. These are latent abilities. After all, we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.
We existed before we were born in this short life, and we will after our physical bodies retire.
holy moses!!! this doc is like BAM!. i have to check to make sure my skull is still in one piece becuase my mind = blown. seriously though. this is an amazing documentary, and its rather eerie. I really want to know what is beneath the sphinx's paw. why is no one exploring that cavern they discovered. im very tempted to go to egypt myself and grapple down that cavern with a camera and a flashlight if it isnt on anyone else's agenda.

He could only do readings in his sleep. As they stated in the Doc, if he did readings for money or to help people win money he would get negative feedback (headaches) So I suppose he was not allowed to ask questions about his personal life, or specifically tell a person their future, or help someone win money. Why? Not sure yet. But I know if I was told When I was going to die and where, I would probably try to avoid it. I guess that would go against the purpose of the universe. So he was not allowed to do those things. As for his hospital, same scenario, he was not allowed to predict his or anybody else's specific future.
Yes because God gave us free will. To predict someone's future is to write something in stone. It then takes away there freewill or in a sense influences it so much so it takes away free will in essence. If my future is already chosen where is my free will. I believe this is why it's against fortune trekking in the bible.

Ironic how he couldn't predict the failing of his own hospital. Didn't see that one coming, did you Edgar?
Well, he 'did' warn those who invested in the stock market, such as the Blumenthal brothers who were the ones that financed the hospital and who were also stockbrokers from New York. Cayce warned the market was going to crash big time....They, as most others, didn't listen and in the end were forced to withdraw their support, and thus the hospital was lost.
It is good to ask questions, but not good to assume.

Atlantis is in Azores. As Casey predicted, we had several volcanos that brought land mass to the surface of our beautifull ocean (specially between 1958-1998). Most of them disapeared due erosion. Others are still there. Go to Google Earth and type "Faial, Azores". Then take a good look at the western part of the island - can you spot where then lighthouse is? It marks the previous end of the island... before it got bigger. But that's only one example - we have severals.
Azores is part of Portugal, though we are so much more... Try to go there and you will find the Eden on earth. As one once wrote (in 1935): "I have never seen such perfect and natural form of comunism: the rich feed the poor, and the poor protect the rich. It's a perfect balance. Though people do not seem realise it... or seem to care."
If you believe you can change the future, google "Spiral Dynamics" and think for youself...

The position as the continent Atlantis occupied, is that as between the Gulf of Mexico on the one hand - and the Mediterranean upon the other. Evidences of this lost civilization are to be found in the Pyrenees and Morocco on the one hand, British Honduras, Yucatan and America upon the other. There are some protruding portions within this that must have at one time or another been a portion of this great continent. The British West Indies or the Bahamas, and a portion of same that may be seen in the present - if the geological survey would be made in some of these - especially, or notably, in Bimini and in the Gulf Stream through this vicinity, these may be even yet determined.
A couple of question's asked Cayce about the continent of Atlantis before earth changing events slpit it up into islands.

The attraction increases that as gives an impulse, that that becomes the aid, the stimuli, or an impulse to create. Hence, as may be seen - or may be brought to man's own - that of attraction one for another gives that STIMULI, that IMPULSE, to be the criterion of, or the gratification of, those influences in the experience of individuals or entities. To smother same oft becomes deteriorations for each other, as may come about in any form, way or manner. Accidents happen in creation, as well as in individuals' lives! Peculiar statement here, but - true!
(Q) What were the principal islands called at the time of the final destruction?
(A) Poseidia and Aryan, and Og.

He states (quite convincingly) that he is Edgar Cayce reincarnated!
David Wilcox is NOT the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. Cayce specifically stated that he carries marks on his body during each incarnation. I know of 2- One from an egyptian incarnation and the other from a later incarnation in Persia.
I stumbled upon the Persia reading that spoke of a past incarnation of himself and another individual. Both of them had a particular mark (birthmark) on their bodies.This was verified immediately after the reading was completed, These marks are to be on the body in the exact location as from the beginning when the marks were first made in each lifetime that comes after.
I'm a bit surprised that Hugh Lynn Cayce (Edgar's youngest son) didn't think about this when he met Wilcox. It would have confirmed his conviction that Wilcox was not his father reincarnated.
David Wilcox does not have this mark and he was not born in 1998, but long before that making him much older than the true reincarnated Cayce would be.
