I am an Indian and a designer by profession. I have been working in this industry for the past 18 years. Lately, I have been thinking of brushing on my skills as a designer and how I can add more valuable in the design process.
This video was referred to me by a MBA friend of mine and I think I am kinda getting some answers. I definitely need a lil bit more insight in this so that I can decide better.

I think the increased productivity is great, the creative struggle is important, if only to advance technology for our own good.
As soon as we drop the market system for a resource-based one we can really start getting productive.
This is a great exemple of fresh young minds....who have the ability to grow our future in a much better direction than old farts with a tight tie around the neck.

No. The only times when you can philosophize so much on a subject (without being able to boil it down to a few words) is when there is no real objective mechanic behind the said subject - just like talking about arts. I find this film as being annoying.
Philosophy itself can create an objective. It expands and connects your neurons and develops new problem solving strategies and strategic planning for unknown negatives.
It's very important that people discuss their philosophies, instead of being ignorant and ignoring the alternative view points. "Thinking out of the box" is one of my traits, I like to play devil's advocate on issues. When it comes to troubleshooting, I may not always have the best or the right answer, but I can rule out many other alternate possibilities.
Very propositive, This video really stimulates you to think out of the box in the way of how to do business, how to create products and how to understand the market, the economy and the society in which we live.
From the little i saw i would say, that there saying that normal marketing is starting to fail and they dont know what to do so the only choice is to just See and React.
