Prime Minister Tony Blair recently described tolerance as 'what makes Britain Britain' but in this extensive investigation Dispatches reveals how a message of hatred and segregation is being spread throughout the UK and examines how it is influenced by the religious establishment of Saudi Arabia.
Dispatches has investigated a number of mosques run by high profile national organisations that claim to be dedicated to moderation and dialogue with other faiths. But an undercover reporter joined worshippers to find a message of religious bigotry and extremism being preached.
He captures chilling sermons in which Saudi-trained preachers proclaim the supremacy of Islam, preach hatred for non-Muslims and for Muslims who do not follow their extreme beliefs - and predict a coming jihad. "An army of Muslims will arise," announces one preacher. Another preacher said British Muslims must "dismantle" British democracy - they must "live like a state within a state" until they are "strong enough to take over."
The investigation reveals Saudi Arabian universities are recruiting young Western Muslims to train them in their extreme theology, then sending them back to the West to spread the word. And the Dispatches reporter discovers that British Muslims can ask for fatwas, religious rulings, direct from the top religious leader in Saudi Arabia, the Grand Mufti.
Frankly, the video and the whole documentary is not in full. The video looks like has been edited, clip and exposing much of the negative parts. Anyhow, if true this is not the kind of Islam conveyed by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). More like that of retarded Wahabi sect product of Saud's regime from the Arab Peninsula. The literal understanding of Al Quran is always the case of un-tolerance. I am a Muslim from Malaysia, though the 2 Haramain (Makkah and Madinah) is in the Arab Peninsula. Make it clear to all, the Saudis is not representing Islam for Muslims of the whole world. The majority of Muslims in the world are Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah which represents almost 90%, balance is Shiism and Wahabism.

Why is it seen as a conspiracy that in western democratic countries one is expected to embrace democracy? When one moves to a democracy one is expected to accept that form of life. Otherwise, why would you live there? Just as, if a westerner moved to Saudi Arabia, they would not be allowed to have their own seperate laws and way of life that goes against Sharia. If you want to live by Islamic law rather than democracy, live where you can do so. And if you want to live in a democracy, then do so. It is these fundamentalist Muslims who are trying to change the west, not the other way around. Why are they coming to other countries and telling them how to live?

you have just written a small part of that chapter.it is about those women which are widows of war,slaves whom the prophet possed and all.also it says only after releasig the girls only he can marry the girl.because he or anyone else cannot force someone to marry him.this was for their own protection.the prophet lived at a time where the women had very much difficulty to live without the protection of their men.eventhough only a believer can marry only upto 4 women under their will and only if he thinks that he can satisfy all the 4 in an equal manner,an exception was made for the prophet.the prophet at the time of this chapter(chapter 33) already had 4 wifes.so in order to make the girls secure in the society, an exception in the limit of marriage was made.

whom you have paid their dowries, as well as
those whom God has placed in your right hand
through war, as also the daughters of your
paternal uncles and aunts, and the daughters of

i saw about 15 minutes of this movie.what i can say is that many of the things which are said are true.but some of them are out of proportion.for example, the man in the video says to beat your children if he/she doesn't perform his prayer even at the age of 10.but some of the words before that is omitted.the parents should also advise the children to prayer at the age of 7 itself.only if the child does not pray at the age of 10, he/she should be beat.it doesn't mean that you sholud beat him to death.who in the world doesn't beat his child when he do somthing which is not acceptable...the child should not grow up as a man who is ungrateful to his God.after all He gave u a place to live on earth..gave u legs,hands,eyes and all.

It is important for you to speak of religious fundamentals (the books and their contents) as objects of faith, but not as truth or fact or actuality. Saying is true is a mistake of language. It is important for me and you to understand the difference between actual facts and faith-based beliefs and respecting vocabulary is a good start to get settled. Once muslims, for instance and in general, can respect the state of mind of a pure thinker, they may agree to be pure (free) thinkers. But that road is difficult as muslims are not allowed to have doubts towards the fundamental contents of the actual book through thinking. Here we have one of the largest dividing lines between human mindsets, and it seems to be based in the misuse of words.
I think a lot of muslims doubt in their mind, meaning that they think about the probability of the Quran, like any other "sacred" texts, being purely human based and developed through time with other humans, rather than the actual passing from god to a chosen person and of this particular output. But they would never talk about that side of thinking. At least not to me.
I think, thinking about whether presented facts are actual or merely probable is normal and natural for any mind that strives to discover the truth. So lets not make it a taboo. Its part of us and makes us generally more clever and free, even if there are more questions than answers through the process. And saying that the Quran (and the story around it) cannot be said to be true, does not mean that it is not a great belief to have for going along with life.
Both mind sets can be reconciled: -doubt regarding the truth of it, and -faith regarding the beauty and spirituality of it.

I am from Birmingham and I am a regular worshipper at the Green Lane Mosque and I am completely appalled by this totally ‘anti-Islam propaganda’. Most of the preachers/scholars at Green Lane Mosque have been quoted totally out of contexts and their views have been portrayed across as very evil. I have been attending this Mosque for over two years and I have not come across any religious extremism at all. This is a load of rubbish and to be honest this is only going to result in more discord among the Muslim and non-Muslim communities all over the UK.

AL HALABY is 100 % right. I'm not Muslim, but i did have a couple of girlfriends who were. I never met a family with such open arms, compassionate, loving. I can only remember laughs and joy when the families would unite for an event. I wasn't Muslim, it didn't matter to them (I can tell you that with Jewish and Greek girlfriends i wasn't well seen or accepted). We spoke of the cuisine, their countries, religion, politics and what have you. Islamic people love their country, love to sing and love to dance.
Do not mistake them for the extremist and mentally ill people you see on this video or the psychopath they converted in black Africa.
Doing so, you would have to explain if all the Germans were Nazis or part of the Third Reich.

This proves the problem the west (in particular the US, UK & now France) is facing with the spread of radicalised Islam. The fact is that whether these people are condemned by peaceful Muslims or not, this ideology of hate is still spreading heavily. I've even experienced strands of this myself. Being a Sikh in a predominately Muslim college, i often find myself in a state of shock at the way some of these people hate non beleivers. Personally i don't mind whther you'reHindu, Christian Jew or Athiest. As long as you can coincide with me peacefully i'm happy to be with you. It's quite obvious these peopple aren't though.

I am not a Muslim but when I see things like this it really shakes my view on the entire community. I know that these are usually just a small portion of the overall population but it seems to me like Islam's "small portion" is a lot larger than those in most other groups.
What would a Muslim expect me to think of them if I attended one of those supposed interfaith events? It baffles me how Muslims act like they can say whatever they want and then cry foul when anyone criticizes them.
These disgusting views are why people attach the terrorist stigma to the Islamic faith. The Muslim religious establishment has forced us to use the words terrorist and extremist when talking about them.
I'm lucky enough to be from Canada where there isn't a large population of Arabs and the ones that are here tend to be tolerant and respectful. It seems like a different story in the Uk from what I'm seeing..

Though I am a humanist, I love Sufi Islam. I love Rumi and Ibn Arabi. The kind of Islam, Whabism, is not only stigma on highly inclusive teachings of Islam but humanity as well. Mr. Zakir Naik, a Wahabi scholar, is preaching the same Islam in India. I would request you to post a documentary of his teachings as well! He is also following Saudi version and teaching Muslims that, "every Muslim should be a terrorist"
