Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey is a 13-part series investigating how the laws of nature and our position in the universe were determined. Narrated by famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, it presents scientific concepts in a way accessible to the layperson. Among the topics covered include how to determine the true age of earth and the cosmic phenomenon of supernovas.
Seth MacFarlane is the creative force behind this series, which is an updated version of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. Ann Druyan, who was Sagan’s original creative collaborator, serves as an executive producer on the updated series alongside MacFarlane.
A sequel, Cosmos: Possible Worlds, was released in 2020.
