No 70k back then was a very high income it’s only now that that’s not much but years ago when you dad built the house that was a great income

Judge Lorenzo Page haddock of jax FL Give Cathy Mitchell her generation home back 😢
love the peaceful music
Why be a burden on your parents..time to be adults 😂
If they are overweight, with nice cars, and everything they want… it’s disrespectful.
We should talk more about generational pay Gap more now and less about gender pay gap .. why same work isn't paying the same to our generation and why older generation has more money
It's your life, it's your decision.
My parents only let me stay if I give them money. Problem is I need respect rules at house. 🏡 I can’t have privacy. Now I’m living with my girlfriend
Is because most family parents want everyone to be in college or university either way or a drug addict or alcohol addicts are to blame for not having money for anything apartment is not a problem working at age 18 or 20 years instead of wasting money on college or useless study's they expect u to pay intuition they expect u to pay the books and everything 30000 thousand worth if not more per year or 4 years plan so stupid if u work u could have had 8000 or more money and one bedroom apartment is 1400 per month so that's 3 months pay rent alone u can have a car but need to use bus we have EBT program cash aid program 1 year bus pass for free plus food donations plus help pay for gas also so that's 250 per person on food EBT card u save 200 if not more on bus ride especially on car u can actually afford anything within 5 months but no people are dumb especially democrat I'm a Republican I work after highschool graduation I went to mexico a year see my Mexican family I was able to travel to Chicago New York road trips los Angeles so I don't know why being a moron plus I have autism I may not have friends or anything but massage and do sports help me in 7 years I can afford myself to build a cabin house is very easy to do by yourself or with someone I'm a earth angel and I help out the homeless or the community to and stop buying designser bags purses or whatever is totally useless I also walk dog during my free time so sometimes I get little money for it stop paying on education and useless junk
What do they expect? They give birth to us and expect alot which they didn't expect the recession would take a turn.
Life has gotten to expensive for the younger generation. My first house payment was less than $700 a month. I would never have been able to afford a house in this current market if I were to be starting over now.
This is the result of young parents from the past who wanted to be friends with their kids first. And really didn't know how to raise them for adulthood. Being an adult will always have it's problems.
1 dollar can buy bread, pop and sweets.. now not even a bread nor a pop just sweet treat
There’s 4 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment I had to return home to dad pay check to pay check was crushing me and rent kept going up in the studio I had and as a techie you are under paid in help desk…. So now just paying off debt and saving money and contributing how I can
Mother daughter threesum….😂😂😂
Because the American Dream is only a dream for…Americans.
Greatings from France.
The growing billionaires in charge have completely failed the American people.
The dream is dead.
Yall made this story 3 MONTHS AGO?!! How detached from reality are Yall? Do you understand it’s 2025 and this is CNBC? What a tone deaf horrible example 🤢 honestly 🤔 UNSUBSCRIBED! lol 3 months is too recent for this level of shytty reporting 🤨 there’s just too many other sources with not enough time for incompetent ones rn
Who approved this project? The example is so horrible it’s actually insulting lol this is the best story your research gave you? I already don’t really fw nbc but cnbc at least has decent economic/world/business news… what a miss, I’m not finishing the video lol 3 mins of nothing
What are they gonna do with this house when they die? take it to heaven with them?
who is going to take care of them when they get really really old. me.
so.. it is a win win situation for me.
Give as in pay some rent to your parents!
My parent living with me for a long time
This is some BS. Stop wasting money on BS… you drive a mercades.
What's a problem living with their parents, everyone should live with their parents and take care of them❤
Why rent and give your money to someone else? My mom has been paying property taxes for the last 20 years and the amount of taxes she paid could have gone to another house in full, so technically, even when you buy a house, you're still still giving your money away…
33% with parents, 30% are barely living alone with roommates, and 30% are barely living with a partner and possibly a family…and the last 7% makes the entire population feel like sh*t for not being born to wealthy parents or being a social media mogul or dropshipping kingpin.
I dont even need to explain it anymore, just look at rent cost and pay offered
they're is no way in hell more men live at home with their parents then wemon.
I refuse to believe that.
I'm 27 and I still live at home with my parents simply because I just cant get a job.
This is a good example. Imagine those living with their toxic family because of the cost of living. You're stuck in hell.
Stays with parents after a time noticed to theirs as for care of
how possible each purpose fulfilled without parents who possible to does it as parents places and institutions jobs places not distancing
this is classic cnbc. this is “struggling” for them
this concept is outdates. young adults should now live at home. the costs and economy do not support every adult having a seperate roof and life. we need inter generational households. kids save on living expenses and can even help parents with some money for their needs. we need to share resources under one roof
What we're paying for a studio now, what they were paying for a 300k house back then. It's ridiculous. A sandwich at Subway is almost 20$ for one person almost. It's definitely not the same.
Soooooooo the Chinese and Indians live and work together here in the U.S. and got nice big houses and cars while the rest of us is paying rent by are selfs
Stop living above your means and being more responsible. You don’t need brand new vehicles, Starbucks, hog rings in your noses, tattoos, alcohol or cigarettes. Make better choices
