Every single one of those Congressmen and Senators knows that what is happening is wrong. You don't go in with a bulldozer when a scalpel is needed. It is complete crap. Hopefully his constituents won't buy his ridiculous statements. They have sold their entire wing of government because they are terrified of trump. And no one voted for this.

All Billionaires should pay their taxes or better yet, massive different shelters that seriously need help, or nonprofit organizations

ABC "news" is biased and full of hate. I wonder what the FCC has in mind.

The "guvamint" teet has been shut off. Work at "Pizza Hut" like many do without guvamint -benefits, vacation, paid time off, etc.

@designer-mama March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

you're asking a man with 14 children and doesn't care about ANY of them to "be compassionate" to people he called parasites. bruh.

@Wontusetubeagain March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

We want a economy from that is 95 percent private employment and no more than 5 percent of jobs in the public sector……GET IT!! OR GET LOST!!!!!!!

@iosios1768 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

'Be more compassionate' – Many of those shown the door fear they are unlikely to find another employer willing to pay them a regular wage for doing little more – if anything – than showing up; and some know their ineptitude is so significant that they will likely struggle to secure any job paying more than minimum wage.

Of course Republicans said take half a step back. They don’t want spending cuts and government efficiency. If Congress wanted these things they would have worked towards these things. Now Congress can suck it! Now it’s time for Congress to begin codifying Trump’s executive orders.

@kellyi.4353 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Rich McCormick you didn't answer the question about were there other Republicans challenging Musty, or were you the "lone ranger". Your answer: "I was in other meetings". That wasn't the question. You're weird af

@joansmith525 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

There is no compassion in a Fire at will culture.

@spiffyg4939 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

He says "be compassionate" and votes for more cruelty. Wake up MAGA and realize that this is what you voted for.

@olddoug8945 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

"show a little more compassion" THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO, FOOL? Trumpodsky and his Republican Senate and his Republican House of Representatives and his cabinet will go down in history as the most egregious traitors in American history, bigger traitors than Aaron Burr or Benedict Arnold. Doubtless their names will join that of Benedict Arnold as the biggest traitors in world history. He and his cabal of traitors will live in infamy throughout the Ages. The name “Trump” will be synonymous with treachery and treason. Stop them now. Recall your senators and reps if your state has a recall. Demand resignations. Do whatever it takes. Before its too late.

@americanmale314 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Actually, it's pretty simple. America voted for the best candidate. They can tell all the lies they want to tell, but Americans know what's what.

@GenXSigma-k7j March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Republicans don’t understand compassion. That’s why they’re Republicans. It’s foreign to them. Research consistently shows, conservatives lack empathy for others, and don’t care about human suffering. They just don’t. They only care when things affect THEM directly.

@wheneverisclever March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Didn't bother watching this. I just wanted to leave a comment reminding ABC that they've already been exposed as FAKE LIBERAL NEWS! HACKS!

@ArthurWade-n5w March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

You are not OWED a government job. The Federal government was not designed to be a jobs program.

@zero0fnine March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Rep. Rich McCormick of Georgia, have you considered you voting for and supporting Trump and Project 2025 was a mistake? There has been zero compassion in the scapel Trump and Musk have taken to jobs and layoffs. They may as well have been done by computer. If you want to vote for a compassionate leaders you should really have reconsidered Liz Cheney. Instead, you supported a bully dictatorship because you lack the spine and courage to stand up to these scoundrels and actually vote for people who really stand for what the Republican party used to stand for instead of a far alt right fringe movement turned mainstream brainwashing people to go for totalitarianism, dictatorship, technofeudalism and Russia. Modern America won't stand for an attempt to be turned into feudal Germany and any kind of monarchy. Get some more courage, please. The modern Republican party supporting Trump will be remembered. And your disgrace will remain. If you're supposed to be a leader, then lead. If your superior isn't doing what they are supposed to be doing and destroying our system of checks and balances, then impeach and speak up. It's the 11th hour, and you have a lot more speaking up to do, pretty please.

@momof2949 March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am

Musk was tasked with getting rid of waste .

@wmpmacm March 20, 2025 - 8:22 am
