South Africa is being depicted as a demon… as if our government is heartless and careless.
My roots are based in a mining community. My father was a miner, doing due diligence to our country's economy and the community itself. I know the hardships.
Our SAPS is doing their job! However, being portrayed as heartless and harsh.
My question:
Will Britain or US allow and entice foreigners; being undocumented, admitting to being illegal immigrants, as if it's normal?
Not even adding to the mix, being involved in illegal activities, according to the laws of the land?
Where are SADEC leaders???
Shame on you!
Never has this matter been prioritized as a matter worth discussion.
To the rest of the world, to whom this video reached:
shame on you for becoming emotional and shaming South Africa for being ruthless and blaming our law enforcement for being callous towards "humanity".
Our poor citizens are not taken into account by the global community.
Imagine the living conditions being featured here (the zama zama's), times 4!
Foreigners are protruding and capturing our country without global community, taking into consideration that South Africans are suffering; economically, crime wise, safety wise, growth wise.
Our livelihoods are threatened. But the very same nation who captured us, then sold us out (Britain), is given an opportunity to depict us as being inhumane, cruel people, at the expense of our own brothers and sisters.
Our BRICS allies: (oh ya… Britain bailed once more…), what is your stance?
I'm saying this boldly: those depicting South Africa and its law enforcement authorities as being harsh: think again: you are I'll informed regarding the bigger picture.
Britain (and your cowardish allies): man up and owe up.
Technology is taking over all this jobs will be historie soon
Where are South African in this situation, why our Government and Citizens blamed not the Governments were these People Come from.
So sad to see how backward things have gone….such a total waste of time!
Extremely dangerous criminals and thugs
The title is wrong. Documentary should be titled WE ARE CRIMINAL VERMIN
😢😢😢sorry for team
…these poor people are amaizing…I live in the privileged south, where my (white) wealthy neighbours need therapy and drugs to make them happy. Brilliant docie.
South Africa is a lawless country indeed I’m so impressed to be a south African
Such pethetic journalism, this is hardly the wholes story.
What a interesting documentary to watch, well done….I’m kind of wondering how the mining companies are the biggest looters after leaving mines in that condition. The British mining companies which looted our minerals long ago, there should be an inquiry to look into the old companies which left mines in such a devastating state to compensate our country and communities they operated in. It’s crazy! if it was South African Companies which did that on British grounds , Britain would ensure the EU Commission and UN sanction SA at a drop of a hat, so why is our government not going after these big companies and their directors?simple …
Hope BBC will show us the other side of the white collar crime as a follow up.
This is what we seen on the movie called Blood Diamond. Why this is happening in Africa
BBC shouldn’t be allowed to broadcast in our country they spread incorrect😊 information

Who buys the gold from the illegal miners?
The question remains why zimbos cant they do exactly this in thier own country.
You doing this to feed your family's but you're destroying ours is that fair
some South africans complaining about illegal migrants while having them as tenants
South Africa is carrying the burden of all those people. Please leave South Africa alone 😢. We have our problems already. When all the other countries' youth is here is South Africa, who's gonna solve your problems back home. Please go back home and fix your problems
Really deep story into those zama zama going in durban deep even if in those day mining company becoming interested to mine it back. I’m wondering if its possible to get a large piece of gold ore from this kind of deposits somewhere, i’m mineral collector and it is soo hard to get just a decent piece!
Honestly speaking, they actually brought their wifes with them. What had happened to our country S.A. Just when are the borders security going to start closing the borders? How long is this going to continue like this? Just listen to this. Where is the Home Office Minister and the borders security people? For GOD sake.
OMG. Just listen how comfortable this guys from ZAMA ZAMA are, in this video. The BLOODY SWINES are having a break while they are having a lough and eating chips. Their comfotabity, can just be illustrating that they are under the instructions and in the good hands of the government or the BIG RICH BOSSES. Are they not scared that the roof might come down and be get buried down there? while the people who sent them down there, are sitting in their Offices, while wearing their Suits and ties. One might even think that, the ZAMA ZAMA guys are acting in a Movie, and yet they are not. Well come to the Real World.
Anyone who takes these BBC documentaries serious needs to go and check themselves into a mental asylum. The are independednt content producers giving us better researched more accurate information. BBC has really lost the plot with their fresh out of school journalists and their biased writting
These PPL risk with their lifes
Camera man u inside yhooooooooo
I don't feel sorry for the people of Zimbabwe they don't want to go and fight for their own lebaration
Seeing how the Zama-Zama's live and how they have to risk their lives for themselves and their families is heart breaking, its hard in South Africa as a person born and bred there, imagine how difficult it is for someone who is foreign. God bless us all, we may be different in many ways but we are the same.
Julle gaan nog toeval daar onder
may god blessed you with work🙏🙏
