A tragic loss. Pope Francis was the only truly good man to be pope in probably a thousand years. All the rest supported child sex abusers and thieving of the poor and crooked financial deals. There won’t be another like him.

We were so blessed to have him as our Pope. May he rest in pease and his humility be always remembered.

The criticisms about Pope Francis from 'traditional' Catholics appalling! Members of the clergy were involved! These traditional Catholics want to take us back 60 years! It breaks my heart to listen what they have to say. The conservatism coming from the U.S.
is linked with the Republican party. As a Canadian I find this disturbing.

The Catholic Church is my faith, and it provides me with a deep sense of purpose and belonging. Its rich history, rooted in tradition and devotion, offers a spiritual foundation that guides me through life's challenges. I find strength in the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist, which is central to my relationship with God. The teachings of the Church on love, mercy, and compassion inspire me to live a life of service to others. Moreover, the sense of community within the Church, through both local parishes and the broader universal Church, brings me comfort and a shared sense of belonging. As I continue to grow in my faith, I am continually in awe of the Church’s ability to adapt to the times while staying true to its core mission of spreading the message of Christ’s love and salvation

Whh does the news media believe it will force its salacious viewpoints on the Church ?

The love the obsession for money and material things is the root of all Evils. Money the love of it is the dung of the Devil. Pope Francis

Thank you for the beautiful report on how truly a man of God he was and that it will be difficult to fill his shoes. Rest in peace Pope Francis.

It must be such a heavy burden to carry, being the Pope… I wonder how much emotional and spiritual support he really has behind closed doors?

This Dolan guy is a joke

@letmeentertainyou5534 April 26, 2025 - 2:31 am

I don’t think for one second he was a lonely man you have that totally wrong. He has his faith that’s not lonely

The fascist arm of the Vatican Opus DEI supported the felon Trump. Fighting for the poor are words. Women bleeding to death is the work of the Catholic Church. Disgusting.

His name is Pope Francis..not Francis
