I’m a patriots fan checking this channel out. Interesting to see Tyler shough as a dark horse qb. I don’t watch much college football just get curious around draft time

@G.RevTheCologneConnoisseur March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

By the way, we need DBs more than DE at this point but if QB is what we need than why not get that at 2

@G.RevTheCologneConnoisseur March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

If we get a 27 yr old rookie QB, you’re basically getting a QB in 26 and it’ll be some other guys making the pick. We have a potential that when 33 comes the top 4 guys will be gone.

@RobertSmotherman-e1f March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Um the best player for the browns is Baker…. oh wait this coach u say is so great with Qbs let the brass get rid of em which lead to the worst trade ever in NFL history

@nonethelessbysignificantvi197 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Draft Carter or Hunterat#2 and use a 3rd round pick to trade for QB Joe Milton from New England…I would still draft Howard at#33..With Pickett create a real bonafide QB compition for the starting job comes the pre season..
Who ever wins will be sure enough ready to manage the Offense.. My concerns are still with the O line and the running game, Chubb may never be the same again

@nonethelessbysignificantvi197 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Here's the list of Quarterbacks the Browns have drafted since their return back in the league in 1999, in 26 years they've gotten 12 rookies in total.. Some where actually even better than this year's supposedly best college prospects at the position..
Tim Couch (1999) 1st round at #1, possibly the purest passer we ever drafted!-
Spergeon Wynn (2000) 6th round at #183 , for depth-
Luke McCown (2004) 4th round at #106, for depth or grooming-
Charlie Fry (2005) 3rd round at #67, for depth and prospect-
Brady Quinn (2007) 1st round at #22, prospect-
Colt McCoy (2010) 3rd round at #85, prospect-
Brandon Weeden (2012) 1st round at #22, oldest rookie prospect ever at 29 years old!-
Johnny Manziel (2014) 1st round at #22, prospect and launghing stock pick of the league!-
Cody Kessler (2016) 3rd round at #93, depth and prospect-
Deshone Kizer (2017) 2nd round at #52,part of that Browns winless season in NFL history they went 0-17-
Baker Mayfield (2018) 1st round at #1, prospect and brought back life in Cleveland we haven seen in years !-
Dorian Thompson (2023) 5th round at #140, possibly the worst drafted QB ever doesn't even look NFL caliber…

Again do we need to draft a QB because we still need one or do we draft for talent??
If history serves us right, it makes no sense to repeat this QB mistake over and over again..
If Browns draft Shedeur Sanders, than Cleveland will remain yet again the joke of the league!!
Cleveland continues to get weird drama and as usual to be a farm team compare to other more serious franchises…

Browns clearly drafted for Talent in 2017 when they got Edge phenom rusher Miles Garrett in the 1st round at #1 overall,
S Jabrill Peppers 1st round at #12,
TE David Njoku 1st round at #29,
and then they went for QB Deshone Kizer in the 2nd round at #35, and nobody is gonna convince me that Sanders or even Ward is better Kizer no f way I re watched all the films possible!!

And look what they got the year after in 2018! QB Baker Mayfield in the 1st round at #1 overall,
CB Denzel Ward 1st round at #4,
OT/OG Austin Corbett in the second round at #33,
RB Nick Chubb 2nd second round at #35, who's the best runner in decades for Cleveland since Jim Brown!!

Ironically, in 2018 when the Browns could of had Josh Allen that went to Buffalo at #7  who's now one of the elite and MVP QBs in the league, Lamar Jackson went to Baltimore at #32, is a 2 time MVP…They chose Mayfield at #1 and end up letting him go eventually, not the best but still a mistake we are still paying for now in 2025..

So my point here again is if the Cleveland Browns want to stink up the place again and screw everything up one more time by just focusing only on average QBs  like Shedeur Sanders and even Cam Ward with our #2 pick ? then sell the F  team already! End of story….

Clearly this is supposed to be always a joke of a franchise run by clowns and giving the devoted loyal fans false hope of ever truly getting a perennial winner even less a Championship team…

If the are really smart and have learned from previous mistakes, without bias assumption and social cultural asthetics of just wanting a black QB or just drafting QB simply only because we need one, why cant we just look at this for the long haul and really build this team for the foreseeable futur realistically..
In my humble opinion  the Browns I dont believe are not just a QB away from being a Super Bowl contender, that's delusional nuisance!!

Edge Rusher/ DE Abdul Carter with Miles Garrett can give us a formidable 1-2 pass rush like we haven't ever see,especially in this millenium era..

CB/WR Travis Hunter can still builk up another 10 to 15 pounds to  and be well suited for the NFL, many college players do, same for Carter, so I'm not just looking at size ad much as talent…
Hunter will be special I have no doubt for any team lucky to get him..

DT Mason Graham  with Miles Garrett can be devastating too for any opposing offensed because Browns would not only have great pass Rush with Hall JR. already in tow but great run defense too.. Since we lost Tomlinson it's not a bad pick either..

OT Will Campbell would a great pick and I wouldn't necessarly consider that a reach because no matter what kind of QB you have vet and especially a rookie, without a great offensive line your QB is hopeless…

QB, RB I sware we can find someone who might surprise us if we develope then and build the team overall..
Browns have tried for years to get this QB savior but have always fallen flat because they've always neglected the other things that makes a great team… and That's real balance on both sides of the ball..

ALERT ALERT Todd McShay personally doesn’t like Sheduer and doesn’t like his father. Most all the other big name sports analyst say Sheduer will be a good NFL QB. Ask Rich Eisen. Mel Kiper, Louis Riddick,, Stephen A, Shannon Sharpe, Ocho Johnson, Chase Daniel, Chris Simms, Shady McCoy, Acho, the list goes on. McShay is very bias and always has been about Deion and now Sheduer. Sheduer has played in an NFL style offense and coached by NFL hof coaches and players. He can read defenses and has a high football IQ.

@_Josh_98 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Weren’t they dogging McShay a few weeks ago? 🤔

@DeAngeloBertDavis March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Lol. NONE of these sports evaluators to my remembrance even had P Mahomes on their radar prior to him going pro. So their professional opinions to me are just as good or bad as mine a couch potato sitting at home.

@JohnRobart-u2w March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

It’s disgusting to think there are fans who want a 2017 draft repeat!!!! TAKE THE BEST QB PROSPECT AT 2.

@James-e3m4x March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

In a perfect world on a perfect team the owners,GM and the head coach should have been equally on board for Watson but it gets very sticky for Kevin because he was hired by the other two if they really wanted Watson what’s Kevin supposed to do? Rumors are that it was Berry’s idea first which makes sense he’s the GM and the other two eventually jumped on board that’s what I think happened I don’t believe Stefanski whould have given him this deal on his own he’s too smart for that and Watson really doesn’t fit Kevin’s style of coaching.

@James-e3m4x March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

The Browns worst nightmare will be if the Steelers draft Shough and he’s great I think that’s a possibility.

@James-e3m4x March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

I think Sanders is falling off in the draft possibly because of what Todd just said these other QBs weren’t looked at much because we assumed Sanders and Ward were the best and now that these other QBs are placed under the micro scope we are finding out they might be as good or better than what we thought.

@James-e3m4x March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Shough won’t make it past Pittsburgh they will take him over anyone else that’s left.

@JustineGuzowski March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Who in Browns group really decided to trade for & pay D Watson? Looks to be owners since Berry & Stefanski are still employed. I'd really like to know. MK is busy choosing 2 QBs in the first round & half of the local sports media is paid to work Browns games so we won't be told.

@craigmartin5055 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Todd is a smart guy – Carter and Shough is my favorite combination

@jack-hq7gr March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Draft a QB at 2 and have him be a mid level player… yikes how very Browns… The browns have a “dam good defense”… gotta wonder…about anything after that… Pick best players and build a competent team…. How about another 5’8 return guy that gets injured… oh got that in free agency….Watch Pittsburgh or Seattle get one of the so called second tier QBs and succeed…

@hsakldhlkhddhsadlshad March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

This is just more hate directed at Shedeur Sanders. He led the nation in completion percentage while having less time to throw than any other quarterback in the country and was the most sacked quarterback for two straight seasons. Despite this, he also led the nation in passing yards with 4,100. Patrick Mahomes proved in the Super Bowl that you need a good offensive line to be successful as a quarterback, no matter how talented you are. Shedeur was the exception to that rule last year.

@bevelinternational7527 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

I keep hearing perfect fit or when he's protected…but shedeur has never went to a perfect fit and was poorly protected, but always won.

I don't quite get it.
Carter had one great year as an edge rusher, has a foot injury, and we just paid over 40 mil to a man that plays same position. Furthermore, we have talent on that d-line and there's talent in this draft.

Todd is talking a about a kid who spent 7 years in college in Tyler.

I'm not sayin sanders is jayden danjels, but saying he'd be 6th qb last year is just a bit if a stretch.

Hunter is generational and he can actually score the ball.

At some point, the browns have to do that

@Will-lg9ev March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

What’s the difference between Joe Milton and Josh Allen coming out of college? Both were seen as raw players/ throwers with accuracy issues.. prototype size, rocket arms and mobile (Joe faster, ran a 4.5). There is no difference.

@ChildOfThe1970s March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Yeah but does Sanders even wanna play there? Or will it be another John Elway and Eli Manning situation?

@eddiekyovskyjr7950 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

What if hunter is just different and has extreme stamina and plays both ways kind of like Ohtani

@mercertj March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

You almost never get a #2 draft pick. Get a top prospect on a rookie contract. They can't afford to pay free agents with the myles and dw contracts.

@NsNW_9Fic March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

If the Browns are smart they would be drafting Deion and sheduer😅😂😂😂

@jacobmerrell5116 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

I don’t understand why people are sleeping in Shedeur, his dad is Deion Sanders. He’s lived the pro life his whole life…

@r.j.3097 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

How can you predict how gd someone is going to be lol

@Dormant0ne March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Don’t try to win the draft, you’ve needed a qb since 95 draft a goddamn qb.

@marcproc1 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Kurtis Rourke is a dark horse qb that could possibly be the best qb in this class..
I hope we take 2 qbs and him being one

@Mwolves25 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Just trade up and get Ward. I know when analysts don't watch a single browns game when they say "they got a damn good defense."

@Cleveland-fp8kh March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

😂😂😂 jay crawford nothing else but loyal haha

@fdhtheory7506 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

Bull on this segment is how he should be on every draft segment they have. “I’m no expert, what do you think” and “I don’t follow this deeply, you tell me”. He should never be the one making declarative statements on the draft ever. Speak on what you know and Bull doesn’t know the draft.

@godzilla0974 March 22, 2025 - 3:16 pm

And we should all listen to Todd😂😂😂😂and solid is not what you are looking for in a 2nd overall pick😂
