They were popular when I was a teen in 1967. My boyfriend and I danced to them when we fell in love! I have 2 of their albums. What memories!

Thank you for keeping and posting these news items on YouTube, especially for Righteous Brothers fans, who I hope will find this. And thank you for including the dates and some details.
While their ballad hits and popularity were in the mid 1960s, in the early 1960s they also sang rhythm 'n' blues and rock 'n' roll — much available on the great Shindig television show where they were regulars (which is available on YouTube). They recorded many albums of diverse songs, they had a couple of hits in the 1970s, they toured intermittently through the 1980s, and they toured extensively through the 1990s until 2003 — when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and then Bobby Hatfield left his life later that year at 63, after a full 41 year career of the Righteous Brothers. 🎶✨
