Do you think it is fair to require productive people to work longer to provide for those that won't?

No more tax for this homeless program. I would like to know what portion of the homeless are from Oregon and how many move here for what ever benefit they think they can get. The young man, from another interview you made, wanted to stay just the way he was, wild, free and on drugs. The homeless have ruined Portland. It is time we recover from our misguided benevolance. Time to put the good people of Oregon first for a change.

Do we have to wait til some of you get fired from your Jobs, so you find your own selves unceremoniously tossed out in to the streets b4 you realize that Homelessness mostly starts out as an – loss of a Job – Issue!

Haven't us white people tortured Black People, ESPECIALLY the Women, long enough & with such vulgarity! Now Cancer!! Especially when we already have just about the worst sense of what makes good Culture in general. How much Musical acumen do we really have that we didn't actually steal 1st from other Cultures. Leave them the Hele Alone already! We are clearly far from the best – standard bearers!

I think i like the Metro proposition to slightly lower the tax rate, but to extend it for a longer period of time? ESPECIALLY considering who is in control of our Federal "Government" right now. If they have their way – ALL of us Seniors & Disabled will be out on the streets as well, & in NO TIME at all!!

My reservoir of empathy and compassion for the homeless in Portland is bone dry.
This situation is unsolvable in this city.
Homelessness is a drug problem. Most of the homeless in this city have mo desire to clean up their lives.
Sad to say most of the homeless will die on the streets of this city. And shall not shed one tear.
I'm done.

Unpopular cold-take…we have tried and failed to be the Countries homeless sanctuary.

I was homeless in 2016 for several months following a divorce.

Zero City/County/State assistance…although I did drive without a license, and keep 2 jobs without letting anyone know except my direct boss’.

With my own eyes I have seen that the majority of those on the streets long-term do not want to be a member of our mainstream society.

Simply put we are all capable of doing as we wish in this Society and they are exactly where they want to be…Getting High, Getting By, and Getting Free Shi…you are all blindly/willingly being duped.

Gov. has nothing else to justify our community being grossly overtaxed with except this ancient virtue signal…

Homes + No Jobs = Homelessness

Socialist Democrats + Political Leadership Powers = No jobs
