Why? Because he and his cronies would rather let the border crisis fester, let fentanyl pour in, and let more Americans die from fentanyl overdoses just so he can exploit the chaos for political gain and for the issue to remain unresolved so he could campaign on it in 2024.

It's easy to highlight all the mistakes Trump is making and mock him for those, however, Democrats need to acknowledge where Trump still gains huge support, ie, banning biological male transgender athletes from competing in woman's sports. It's gone past the tipping point on that and Democrats can says it's only a small percent, true, but it has a huge impact.
Immigration, also is out of control in both Europe and America, and more should've been done to deport illegal migrants, especially those who commit violent offences.
If Democrats want to win the next election, then they need to give up on some of the more progressive values. Even that word alone, progressive is now something to be associated with virtue signalling and ignoring facts in favour of feelings.
