Wish I could go, love Jason’s style, he’s a musical genius. So lucky to have seen him on the original Metallica Black Album Tour in 1993 in Johnson City Tennessee. Alice In Chains couldn’t open for them because Layne Staley was in rehab so Metallica played all the black album or atleast it seemed like it, plus all the classics and breadfan and did killer solos , Jason’s was Awesome, tge whole show was absolutely amazing!! Wish he still played in Metallica , he was is and always will be part of the heart and soul of Metallica even if he’s not on stage with them now.

This guy gave 110% every night when Metallica was at the top of their game. Mad respect for Jason.

I love Rob so much…but fuck man, I still miss Jason in that band so much. To me, he was the heart of Metallica. Still is.
