So few Indians in the comment section, I am an Indian and I am very ashamed of this practice in my country. Indians love to flood comment section to show how good this country is, but where it matters, they can't be found, taking responsibility and accountability is the only way to make changes in a crooked system. 25:10 Focusing on the midwives? They are just poor people with no other choice.. couldn't really risk there life.. I really Beleive even if they altogether stood and said No we won't kill Still female infanticide Will take place. Difference? It will be done by the family members itself
Dowry is the real issue That needs to be solved at the first place No. Of kills will automatically Come down to some extent, sadly There's no strict implementation on Anti dowry Measures and the mindset that this is age old practice so it should continue Is also difficult to change ..

What a beautiful and heart wrenching and utterly moving documentary. I wanna give two thumbs up to the gentleman journalist whose hard work for years made this life possible and though the stigmatisation of a girls birth is one of the biggest and most appalling reality of indo Pak sub continent, it’s good to see that slowly but surely the mindset is slowly changing but I know the illiteracy along with cultural norms has yet to completely end this unfortunate mindset. In Islam it’s said that if God gives you a daughter it means Allah / God is very happy with you and if he gives you a son then it means he wants to make you the human happy. Also Allah has credited a birth to girl as a huge blessing to the parents and a sign that you have made God very happy !
