Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here takes a look at the inspiration for and making of Pink Floyd’s 1975 album “Wish You Were Here”. The film features a series of interviews with all three surviving members of the band: Nick Mason, David Gilmour, and Roger Waters.
Interviews with those who were involved in the creative process of the album are also featured in this documentary, including Roy Harper who lent his vocal talents to one of the songs on the album and Ronnie Rondell Jr. who appears as the man on fire on the album cover.
The film covers every aspect of the development of the album from idea conception to song recording to the design of the album cover.
