Afghanistan's government has recently decided over education of women has unintended consequences, so they decided most women are better off being wifey material and as mothers contributing to society and making a happy home, in Britain with it's hyper capitalism, 70% of those graduating from university are women, in the western model, personal achievements, hyper autonomous individuality and economic success are valued more than child bearing and contributing to demographic increase. Most develop countries suffer from lower replacement rate, which if unchecked leads to demographic decline and economic stagnation and the resulting aging population which in turn puts pressure on already dwindling recourses.
Since most women are educated, career orientated and economically viable, they will price themselves out of the mating market, because most men will not qualify for their attention because of their hypergamous nature, most women are biologically wired to date/marry up then down. In South Korea their replacement rate has declined so much it's 0.7%. In Scotland the average woman is having 1.3% children. Because China earlier one child policy and their economic success and the over education of women like the western model, most women will delay child bearing or forgo it all together because they can't find the right partner.
Watching this, what can we do to help? Not so sure because money isn't going to fix it.

I'm a Pashtun from Pakistan and my heart goes out to all Afghan girls who can't get an education. A Pakistani ambassador once shamelessly said that it's their culture but I'm a Pashtun and no, it's not our culture to stop women from getting an education. This is a deliberate attack on Pashtun culture. We want to see our Afghan sisters going to schools and become doctors and engineers. 😢❤
