in the end of this it says in the congo 400k+ people are infected with aids… at the same time it is showing people lining up to get some juice homemade mix that is supposedly are cure all blah blah sure they say and the documentary narrator in essence agrees as he in chipper tone gose a long with them saing the juice cures and removes aids hahahahahahaaaaa sure….. this documentary while not bad is kinda like propaganda basically triing to saing that most areas of africa are poor to even very poor or, there are some areas that are really rich…. it pretty much completey covers up or dosent even mention the mass c o r r u p t i o n and blah blahhhhh which a lot even to this day blame on colonialism from150, 200, 300++++ years ago blah blahhhhhh at which time there was already slavery in africa before any europeans ever stepped foot in africa
thuhhhhh there is still slavery that gose on in various places of africa to this day in 2025 blah blahhh

dont forget to look into that and dont forget to look into the genocides that continue to happen in china and africa just to name a couple places blah blahhhhhhh

Keep the wealth there with the people! Build the country and the people, keep the outsiders (China, USA, Japan, and India just to name a few) from coming in and giving you pennies to dig and take your precious resources and get rich while to people suffer. May God bless the DRC and the people!

@adsel7626 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Mind you, the DRC is the wealthiest country in the world in terms of natural resources. Tens of TRILLIONS just beneath these people's feet.

@adsel7626 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

I blame every single atrocity and negative thing that happens in Africa to colonialism and neocolonialism

@johnmo1023 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Amazing view of a society!

@tonipernar8745 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

So far ive seen a pop rapper selling a lifestyle unnattainable to the average workingman, an ambitious capitalist woman looking to exploit the cheap labour, and a war profiteer warlord turned politician/oligarch. This documentary is amazing in how much it shows, but decides not to say anything about…

@realorgame March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Barely 1 min into this and the abject poverty is plain to see, so saddening being that the resource and soil Congo is the richest place on earth hands down!

@kimmylimmy9201 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

I saw the same piece of video with the singer/rapper describing Niger’s Mucoco(?) the people that live in the river. So which is the Congo or Niger?

@mechalbrown4261 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Exploiting their own people.

@markjones3402 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

That doesn't make no damn sense the millionaires should help the poor people 😢 At the end of the day you can't take the money to the grave with you WOW SMH

@im_cart8656 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

these comments are insane. beyond baffling. 'what a nice millionaire. he is so kind to stay in the Congo and pay his workers pennies while he lives in incredible luxury!'
the trickle down economics got you all completely fooled. 'what a nice man.. he made 6 workers split 50$ for the camera.. what a kind soul!'
keep feeding on scraps! i wouldn't even let my dog stay in what some people here call a 'home'
the mental gymnastics poor people do for the rich is just bizarre on another level!

@IkeChima-x9o March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

@BeYourself-jk5xo March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Great country just terrible leaders. There is no way I’m letting any country come in and pull resources without taking care of my people.

@jared9537 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Better not ever say anything about brown Americans when yall out there speaking French and getting robbed by your own and colonizers😢😂..smh

@angelthegawd4545 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

As a Black American, I hope the people of Congo can learn to stand up for themselves AGAINST the wealthy. These people are not for you because if they were, they wouldn’t be getting rich off your daily exhaustion. You are working to keep them rich while they sell you the dream that you can become rich by prayer and donation. Please wake up out of your religious psychosis and see the truth for what it is and the greed of the wealthy in your country. The people of America have had to reckon with the most wealthy stealing from us and keeping us poor aswell. However, our situation simply does not compare in severity of poverty by large. I hope every group of people’s rise up against their oppressors. The still hopeful comments from Congolese people are perhaps the most saddening of it all for me. It seems they believe the dream being sold instead of the reality they live.

@olivetambwe3861 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

This was a good watch. Nice documentary, I love the accuracy too..

@mollyy.2x March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

“They could live in London or Miami, But they chose to stay here” tf.. ofc it’s THEIR COUNTRY just because you have money doesn’t mean you have to live abroad . Tf abroad has nothing on the motherland!

@JS-fm4zy March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

There should be no Congolese millionaires while there are still Rwandans in abject poverty, but no lets focus on Palestine with 2% the amount of deaths in comparison since "moral equivalence" matters

@fyali1632 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

I am happy for the couple. I hope they continue their success and t their life flourish and helo their economy

@fyali1632 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

He can do what he wants with his money but I respect him if he is giving back. Maybe he cn get scholarship money for young Congolese to study. It's nice to see that😢

@tanyauljanova7464 March 17, 2025 - 2:35 pm

Congo is no electricity on streets no traffic lights also, the trash through out side without cleaning the town, one Royal Palace hotel no towers, broken an air conditioning system in heated climate even hotels rooms locks are destroyed you sleep anybody can walk inside your room . Military teenagers 13-14 yo with automatic weapon hold police duties in public places as in airport. Airport is nightmare we went to the plane carrying own baggage , radio no information about check in flight, I paid local man $100 to book my ticket to check in my flight, we walked on our own to the plane outside no transport or
