There lies two symbols of human stupidity of Titanic proportions around 100 years apart

@judefraser6475 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

That submersible should never have been down there. No inspections done on it. All died because of one guy with an inflated ego and who was a know it all. RIP the men who went with him.

The hull material couldn’t hold up. If they’d made it all from what the front is made of they may have stood a chance.

Murder/suicide for money. To hell with you Stockton.

@stevepearson6316 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

I feel so bad for the passengers and the boy who didn't want to go. ❤❤❤

@mikeyd946 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

I feel bad for the kid 😢

@TruthBombTom April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Wow it must have been horrifying

@mange2 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

The size of those front and rear hatches in relation to objects on the sea bed don't look anywhere near big enough to be real. Was this set up filmed in a fish tank?

🎉Kabloooooey 🎊

@Marine1111-p5x April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

The owners knew it could fail, arrogance won out.

@CoMorbiditty April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

So glad theres no bodies to see. What a waste of human life. At least he didnt escape his own foolishness.

@milfinu April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

WARNING Never visit the Titanic in a Pringles can !

@Odipodi April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Under pressure!!!!!!!!

@Игорь-ъ8и9ъ April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Не стоит мертвых беспокоить…это про Титаник…

@Grace-e3w3g April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Sad to think that the teenager did not even want to go. His father pressured him to.

@Grace-e3w3g April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

So did it essentially break open I thought they were all pulverized from the water pressure down there

@TheMAV777 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

How far away is this wreckage from titanic? That’s what I’d like to see.

@debraperrier4786 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

If his last name isn't Ballard I'm not getting near it.

@rosaymikecazares988 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

This kind of stuff is what's causing the ocean pollution every ship boat airplane or submarine get out of the ocean.

@highorbit3282 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

more litter in the ocean

@businessdevelopmentofficej2747 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

I don't think there were any people on it

, teeth , most of the skeleton would not have disappeared into the water column – there either human remains or no remains – but nothing was ever reported – bones don't implode maybe the skull ,

No believable description of the bodies has even been published –

@Raff-r6i April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Chcieli zobaczyć Titanica,a spotkali się z jego pasażerami.

@Saunterisland April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

The real irony is that for all intent and purposes, it played out exactly the same as the demise of Titanic.
A man blinded by arrogance who didn't know that his ship wasn't as sea worthy as he assumed pushed it to its maximum limitations and subsequently ended up on the bottom of the Atlantic.
A book written years before Titanic in which that fictitious ship was coined Titan also sunk by striking an iceberg.
Both of those vessels had nearly the same storyline.
Fast forward to this event, and notice the parallels of all three, minus the iceberg in this case, (Titan), (Titanic) & Titan again all have strikingly similar circumstances including being destroyed from the bow sections. All by arrogance, all forewarned and all in the Atlantic.

@James.Gatsby April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

lol

@MinnieMouse100 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

This adventure never held together from conception for me. It looked highly reckless, fragile and uncomfortable. Not at all safe.

@xXtuscanator22Xx April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Should’ve called it the Crumplestiltskin

@nickcage-j5z April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Gorilla glue is only just so good

@gaultadam April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

The inevitable consequences of the neglect and ensuing death of expertise. Stockton Rush was a menace and this is simply the proof.

@heatherspencer4058 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

I don't think it imploded like they made it out to be….. I'm sorry for the lives lost, it must have been a very scary and traumatic death. I hope I'm wrong RIP

@odinsavenger4965 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Little known fact: The Vikings wrote sagas about how that area of water is cursed.

@lisanmc4536 April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

Heartbreaking for the young man whose father insisted he go. The kid was terrified & did it to please his father.

@BlazeYourOwnPath April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm

And I thought the "This is your brain on drugs" ads were bad.
Don't build DIY submersibles kids…

@lhandlott April 23, 2025 - 6:38 pm
