No neo liberalism "failed", it didn't really. It just did what it was created to do. It is a deeply floored system

I say give it 4 more decades. It’s bound to start trickling eventually.

The current system ensures that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And if the system fails due to the greed of the rich, the system ensures that it costs the rich nothing, and the system failures are paid for by taxing the poor! The perfect system ensures the status quo!! However, the fly in the ointment is that the system can only continue if the poor don't realise that they are being played! That's why the poor are subject to 'Distraction politics', of divide and conquer! They are given something to blame for all of their woes like immigrants!! But, if ever the poor cotten on and realise what's happening, the house of cards will come tumbling down!! Because the rich only stay rich due to the poors political ignorance! Let's hope it changes in the future!!

On Radio 4's Any Questions, a Tory AGAIN, claimed Labour bankrupted the country in 2008, rather than admit there was a global banking crisis caused by sub-prime mortgages. And the idiot Labour guy didn't contest it. Unbelievable.

Capitalism didn't fail. Fascism failed. The entire crisis was caused by the government holding a gun to the heads of banks and forced them to do things they knew were reckless.

The economy has always had boom and bust cycles, but capitalism and globalism have made these cycle more frequent meaning in just one man’s lifetime he could experience as many as 5 major recessions. In the past there were times when men would live their whole life in economic downturn, and then their sons would live in a time of uptick and growth.
