I was at the first protest on April 5 with friends. I was very glad we got to do it. I was glad for the turnout and all the other amazing people who are not going to put up with Donald Trump‘s tyranny. We need to stop this man, we will not have a dictator as our leader in this country And this is a message to Donald Trump. You will not be here for a third term after this, you’re out of here. You are not going to destroy our freedoms and what we have all worked so hard to achieve.
USAID closure must be the top issue of the protests, because this is genocide. There is no question about it. Hundreds of thousands are dead (killed) and more suffering. Moral is something that you must not move, because the death of somebody close to you, is something that you can not overcome. Death is like a dark hole. No matter how hard you look at it, when you lose somebody close to you, you lose that person forever. You think of what you could have done better. You think of how good that person was. But you can't tell anything more to the person you lost. That's why we have to do everything we can to tell the person we care about, how much we care, so that we don't regret after. I would never want to feel this regret. Genocide, is something that people must not let happen. But you did. You have to be absolutely terrified by this fact. Media is far from reporting enough about deaths caused by USAID closure. We don't know a single number of deaths caused, in any country, of any disease or malnutrition. This is ignorance. New York Times wrote a good article on 19th this month, but it still doesn't report any numbers that gives us an idea of the total deaths and suffering. We are in the dark on this matter, and we are the perpetrators. We must protest against USAID destruction, because this is genocide.
