The jab?
US national suicide and crisis line dial 988. Veterans press 1. I even call them to solve a quick problem that is in in-between my counseling sessions.
Other countries search for your own crisis line.
I have tried to commit suicide 3 times over a decade ago, but ICU, MHC and a lot of counseling I've gotten better.
Meh
Full of joy? Really?
Like script news reporters are any better, they're actually worse they spread propaganda and nonsense
Their brains are entirely different from ours, due to the internet and social media prolification in our society and the pressures that are constantly on them.
We have absolutely no clue what they're dealing with and could never understand it fully. We need to have more grace for them and stop calling them weak.
There’s a difference between this generation and previous generations. For one, there’s more social media, which can mean that things like bullying can be continuous through cyber bullying. Additionally, the world feels much more volatile and with the endless news cycles, it leads to much more of a feeling of hopelessness, especially when an algorithm can send you down a path reinforcing dark and gloomy thoughts.
With males and females, there is a tendency for women to use relational warfare, which could impact mental health when a person who already feels isolated and insecure loses a large amount of her friends and feels like everyone is against her also being amplified by social media.
Do they mean to say that the whole culture of raising girls for pageant and/or perfection is damaging?! No way!!!? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ FFS. I feel terrible for what this girl had to endure. Her parents are younger than me, so this whole dialog of "the parents didn't know" is BS. These are the same tired excuses we've heard since I was a kid. It's "anything but the parents," as always. My mom was amazing and I felt safe talking to her. Most teen girls DO. It's a failure of the parents through toxic positivity who just want their girl to be perfect.
