What a great loss. I grew up on Chic's music. Alfa Anderson was the one I had my eyes on. She was very beautiful and sexy with a gifted voice. Unfortunately, she never became a household name. I knew who she was back in the 70s because I took the time to read the credits on the albums and vinyl record sleeves. RIH Alfa Anderson, Tony Thompson, and Bernard Edwards of Chic. Your music will always be part of the soundtrack of my life.
