When will science be given its due? Crazy that courts would have the power to exclude scientific evidence.
DNA is your THE MOST personal information, DO NOT SHARE IT.
Guy looked pathetic. Couldn’t man up and admit his guilt.
Erin Moriarty rulez
This female Professor who says she would not post her DNA is because she did not lose a family member or friend in a violent way like this young couple. If she did she would.
Talbert is a monster and a coward. RIP the couple who died in his hands. He thought that day would never come….
What justice. They ripped off life at young age murderer kept on for 30 years now live until he dies of age
I will never understand how defense lawyers can spout the rubbish they do with a straight face, nor how they sleep at night. So disgusting to have listen to them and we have no link to the victims. I can't imagine how awful it must be for their loved ones to have to hear the vile lies coming from their mouth about Tanya having consensual sex with that horrific man.
Unpopular opinion: Everyone's DNA should be on record.
I knew when I read the title and genealogy was involved that my girl Cece was doing her damn thing. She is my hero, such an inspiration to many. So proud of her 🥹
Government will always abuse their power
Thank you Cece for all that you have done for the victims
Was it like the child Emitt Teal or was it like hanging in front of your Mother's smiling the death of her child while little restive kids smiled unbothered and liked the lynching just asking for a friend.
Had new clue it was a hobby if people's. Learned something new thank you
Why have they not used this in the Jon Benet case!!???
Littering makes my blood boil and Talbott got caught because he littered.
For me, the most terrifying thing about cases like this is that someone who appears entirely unremarkable commits such an extreme act of violence, then carries on with a normal life and dives straight back into total obscurity.
Not so much as traffic ticket before or after.
Do they still have the drive that made them do it, but are so horrified by what they did that they resist it? Does it go away?
We have psychological insight on serial killers, but not on these people who do something very similar but only do it once.
If you have never committed a serious crime, nor conceived a child or fathered a child outside of your marriage, you have nothing to fear from genetic genealogy.
Nop, I would never give my DNA.
I understand Defense Attorneys have a job to do, but some of the rhetoric is sickening.
I saw this one already?
I’m a Rustad. My great grandmother was a Rustad.
I just hope LE doesn’t start abusing the genealogy method cause it really is a great TOOL. I know most le proooobablyyyyyy wouldn’t do that but 👀
Do defense attorneys understand how stupid they sound? Lmfao honestly. You’re saying he simply showed up and had consensual sex with a complete stranger while she was in another relationship? Please, what a pathetic defense.
Found out I'm blood relation to Teddy Roosevelt
Those defense lawyers are just gross.
Repeat
My family often wonders why I watch true crime shows such as 48 Hours. I tell them it's this. When the guilty one is pulled from living a life they denied their victims and justice is done, that's why I watch.
Rest in Peace Jay and Tanya. <3
29:57 So….aggressively championing your client involves denigrating the victims? Now, that's a special kind of disturbing. You become complicit in the murders yourself. Not a problem, one would think, for the morally bankrupt.
NASA who is defying Trumps orders should be investigated by doge! NASA is a big black hole of gov waste. Elon Musk had to do their job and save the astronauts. In return Elon gets attacked by the demons. NASA is just another front for the devils out to destroy our country.
"You still miss her, don't you"? Why do interviewers ask the dumbest questions?
