Another circumstance showing lazy cops. This shows why cops are hated, disrespected, and not trusted. This prosecutor is the usual as a prosecutor. Prosecutors are more interested in a win than in justice.
It is a shame that lazy cops and an ego driven prosecutor ruined a young man's life and made victims of his family. In this situation, i hope the lazy cops and the corrupt prosecutor have some bad luck in their despicable lives in their future.
The Attorney General and the Court System are an embarrassment to
Missouri.

If a jury has “too many unanswered questions,” it shouldn’t agree on guilt!!! WTF is wrong with them?! Not enough information is the FOUNDATION of reasonable doubt. Again… WTF!?

❤ and blessings to everyone thanks for this utube please pray for Richard Dewayne Howard

Poor Lamar Johnson. Now he has to recover his life after 28+ years in prison. How will he recover. He's a lot more forgiving than I think I could be. This happens way too often, especially for Black men. I hope he has a wonderful life. This should never happen.

@yesm450 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

There are so many stories of men behind bars who have been wrongfully convicted. There's a moving documentary titles The Trials of Darryl Hunt.

@yesm450 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Lamar Johnson – state law is subordinate to Federal Law. He was wrongfully convicted and denied due process. Supremacy Clause is supreme. The conviction was Unconstitutional. I hope someone will help him to be justly compensated.

My heart hurts for the life that these “investigators “ took from Michael.so many investigators take the easy way out instead of doing their job. And the public defenders need to do better.

@judithpierre3925 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

The US has 2.5M incarcerated people; the MOST in the world. Harsh sentences; the need to PUNISH is greatly to blame. It’s time for RESTORATIVE JUSTICE!

@cassandravenegas8047 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Im so sick of bad cops

@christophergreen2328 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Soley based on the 1st and 2nd video, I'll truly believe that i never will got to Missouri.

@lataun.richardson April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

@1:20:03 😆

@okthen77 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

18:23 They set the poor guy up because they were too lazy to go look for the real killer. Find an Northern Attorney who would take your case. There's always hope!

@nellachiodo3072 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

He had horrible representation by his defense team.thank goodness the innocence program took his case!

@richardjura7450 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Criminal investigators had a tunnel vision, most of the time, police and detectives have tunnel vision. Law enforcement automatically consider a person guilty. If I see a Mannequin that looks like a human body, I probably will not report it because as soon as I report it, then they’re gonna wanna question me and more than likely with their tunnel vision they will accuse me of the crime.

@emmapeelandco April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

This is so outrageous!!!! Poor man 😢

@Hellonheelsmama April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Wow he should of never went to jail! Glad he found some justice

@JaneSmith-n2k April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Missouri has probably been sued so many times they're probably broke as to why they won't compensate for wrongful convictions. 😡

@MicheleRuth-c6h April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

I'm so glad that Rita's son got out of prison and that idiot didn't get voted in again!

@suzziezhills April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Love lawd above now you gonna trick me with love

@double6ixes April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

i literally cannot watch any more of these cases because of my rage at how lazy and incompetent 90% of cops are. I’ve watched too many where innocent men are sent to jail because low life cops have God complexes. if she had a daughter instead of a son, they would have never have accused the daughter of committing that crime. They don’t even look at her abusive ex-husband and immediately blame her son who even had a friend sleeping over at the time? I can’t even watch the end of this.

@jacksoncothren5831 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

This man deserves a massive lawsuit. He should live very comfortably for yhe rest of his life

@DebbieVillalobos-nc2gp April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Another story with lazy cops not doing their job

@JuJuForexTrades April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

You just saw your deceased mother on fire….. shortly after we give you a stress test and failed…. You just saw your mother bloody, dead and on fire… that couldn’t be the reason you failed the stress test… no… the only logical reason is because you’re guilty….. wow … who were the rocket scientist that came to that conclusion???

@RedPanda79 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

In some countries you cannot even start to question a youth with out a parent AND lawyer, also no one can be questioned for hours no matter the age.

@sandycromhout9850 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

This is not really 48 Hours is it?

@Hadrumas April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Regarding the Johnson case: a certain Campbell, a friend of Johnson's, just like the victim, was arrested along with him. Nothing is revealed about the reason for the arrest, clues, evidences, witnesses etc. nor about the man himself. Johnson, however, later stated that Campbell had fired the shots. But there were two perpetrators. The police arrested one of them – apparently rightfully so. Only the second arrested man, Campbell's friend Johnson, was wrongfully arrested. He was innocent? An alibi from a girlfriend is of little value, as is measuring the distance and time to reach the crime scene, because it cannot be proven with certainty whether Johnson was actually at home at the time of the crime. His guilt was supposedly fabricated by the cops they say, but Campbell's wasn't? All three involved were questionable characters from the criminal underworld. I can hardly buy the whole story about bad cops and Johnson being wrongfully convicted.

@jessicameyer5641 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

They try to blame it on investigators but honestly it comes from the people above them it’s how many cases they close no matter what which turns out that’s all that matters instead of real facts and proof it’s about numbers and sadly innocent people pay the price they need to start looking at themselves and how they can sleep at night I want them to start paying the same price meaning jail time when they are finally proved innocent I think the people that put them behind bars should have to go to jail for the same amount of time. That’s just how I feel about it.

@NikkiIvy April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

They don’t want to be sued that is why his name is not cleared, it is all about money

@NikkiIvy April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Not so democratic country at all

@benoniamupepe8505 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

So what happens to those who wrongfully convict innocent people?

@podcastdeisabelyruben April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Johnson is not entitled to financial compensation!!?? That man missed every important day of his family's life, Christmas, and his daughter's school graduation, and was in jail all his young days, and you're telling me that the state won't give him $1 !!! WOW!!! HE SHOULD HAVE A MONTHLY ALLOWANCE; he has a criminal record and will have a hard time finding a job! Missouri, you all need to do better.

@ashley2591 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

he is wearing a gojira shirt. what murdereeerrrr

@JoyGardner-wj2qy April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Bless his Mom. The son GOD BLESS HIM. Complete incompetence on this case. They didn't do their job at all just focusing on her son. I know money don't buy his x and loss.of x. He still needs to sue all. Very incompetent law there. Blessings to all. ❤🎉

@kevinnestor-z7t April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Why didn’t they test other shoes made of same material to see if the dog would hit on all of them?

@hadrienneee April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Can't believe that George/Jorge can even sleep at night knowing he pointed out the wrong person and have him jailed.

@traceyingham1087 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

I’m so angry & disgusted by this.. this poor kid was bullied & ultimately railroaded into this with no one in his corner at least as far as law enforcement..incredibly alarming & shameful for the perpetrators (AKA law enforcement & the judicial system)

@traceyingham1087 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Okay…not for nothing..a 14 year old asking “what is going to happen to her truck?” Means NOTHING hes 14 & no matter how old someone is when you lose a parent or God anyone you’re that especially close with suddenly,,weird things may be said or asked about..And what teen boy or girl doesn’t argue with their parents? No..this is terrible

@jangosavdjdubsak1079 April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

He was out looking for Cougars, not Deer😅

@dreamofmermaids April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Omg I can hardly listen. So incredibly heartbreaking!!!
This man is a hero!!
The injustice is disgusting!

@willpompe April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Michael was innocent

@Smiley-oz6ip April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

What time did this guy get killed? If it was at night less traffic why are they trying to get time during the day?

@KiKi519_ April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Michael’s life was completely ruined by his father, the state of Missouri, his original lawyer, and his bff Josh.

@IngramPetersJr-nr7rm April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

I held my breath as the judge read the verdict. So happy for Lamar. Now he could give his daughter away.

@Hadrumas April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

After the end of the war and the Hitler dictatorship, people like Attorney General Eric Schmidt could be called "terrible lawyers" in Germany, and the Constitutional Court confirmed this. They were lawyers who concealed knowing injustice or even malicious attitudes and character behind formal legal subtleties or excuses.

@IngramPetersJr-nr7rm April 21, 2025 - 3:36 pm

Forget a black man, it's every man's fear to sit in jail for a crime they didn't commit.
