As a former Asheville and Buncombe County, Yancey County Resident, I am devastated when I watch these videos. My hurt and tears are only compounded on the lack of response the Biden Admin had and how some of these folks lived, and STILL have to live after this catastrophe. I had relatives in Yancey along Cane River…..and can only hope they made it through. Many are elderly and would not have had the time to escape.
