If employees did this kind of thing in many businesses, you would be out of a job.

That's why we need DOGE, great idea, get rid of the pen-pushers and inadequate workers in the Civil Service. Far too much waste, far too many vying depts, instead of doing their jobs competently. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians, none of which can do their job.

Shame he wasn't asked where May's Net Zero came from ?
I still see it as a tactic to nobble the country after Brexit.

The biggest changes to a country should not be left to unqualified civil servants …..Gov ministers for those departments should see it ,discuss it ,if big put through parliament …..then theres consequences if laws changed unbeknown to elected representatives of gov …..always wondered if people who share the home of civil servants have to be vetted ….on things like defense especially ….how is it all policed ??

@PaulStratford-vn8ed March 22, 2025 - 7:22 am

Dominic Raab always looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights during covid; he was obviously not happy with things.

For an ineffective PM, Johnson managed to acquire an awful lot of dosh, particularly after he helped to scupper the Ukraine pace d al.

I was a remainer in the end, but respected the democratic outcome. If you lose, do not scream at your opponents and throw your toys about. Accept it!

The Tory’s increased our public debt from £750 billion to £2.7 trillion!! Now that’s £2 trillion in less than 15 years!!
We desperately need DOGE and heads need to roll. 🤬
