This is the thing about capitalism, it has the oligarchs at the top and then below them are descending layers of govt officials, state functionaries, racialised benefactors and political supporters (the base) and right there at the bottom of the pyramid are the Afrikans and the Arabs like crabs in barrel, the dictators are the King crab on the top, helping the oligarchs to keep the smaller crabs in their place and obedient and orderly to their exploitation….

Dag Hammarskjold gave his life for the Congo. See" Hammarskjold Cold Case" Documentary. Also Western Congo was getting screwed by Eastern Congo who had the power. If you do watch the Cold Case Documentary you will learn that Robert Maxwell injected the Aides virus into unsuspecting people in the Congo and that is an Aides originated.

Ask your favorite AI: Which organization has toppled the most number of democratic elected governments all around the world? And you will find out who is truly Evil.

@Omardays23 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

Donald trump is heading towards a real democracy not the phoney propped up propaganda filled political fact sheets…who do you suggest Harris starmer or any of the other employed leaders?
You couldn't make it up.

Nice episode. Delving into that space where the arts meet politics.

Exactly the same as LBJ's murder of JFK to prolong Vietnam for war profiteers… Exactly the same as Contra murder squads killing nuns… Exactly the same as the 9-11 inside job, by Israeli commandoes with Thermite explosives, to spark the Iraq war to steal a trillion in oil and war profits… Exactly the same as Gaza genocide for a new Trump beachfront hotel… Exactly the same as Trump and Musk, today, in the Treasury and IRS… It's always in your name with your money… Follow the dark money to find the hands dripping, your heritage… Quel surprise… Deja vu… All allegedly…

As a New Orleanian who's had more than enough exposure to the Industrial Entertainment Complex of this city, I can confirm that music & entertainers who emerge from here have all been very instrumental (no pun) at suppressing revolutionary, progressive, or simply necessary movements.

How about a soundtrack for the current US coup d'etat executed by Apartheid Elmo and the Orange Demon?

@willard39 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

And just look what Congo's done since. Being invaded by Rwanda is an upgrade.

THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO IS AFRICA'S SACRIFICIAL LAMB.

BUT THE REDEMPTION OF CONGO WILL BE GREATER THAN HER AFFLICTION REGARDLESS OF THE NEO COLONIALIST IMPERIALIST RAPE PERPETUATED BY THE SHAMELESS WEST USING RWANDA AND UGANDA TO DRAIN CONGO OF ITS RICHES.

@FoxSt3v3 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

Moïse Tshombé not Moshe. In French please Johan.

@omkalo4 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

Since the killing of P.E Lumumba these countries and multinationals corp are fueling the wars in Congo and making sure Congo doesn't get a good leader like Lumumba. Everytime when some body suitable came closer, they either assassinated him or stop him from gaining the presidential power while they're lately sponsoring Rwanda to destabilize the DR Congo.

@walterenright8529 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

This was an amazing film. No doubt. I wish though that they included how Dag Hammarskjold was killed in a plane crash in Africa – most likely murdered for his efforts to bring peace in the region. Hammarskjold comes off really bad in this film and maybe he deserves criticism but it would've been appropriate to mention his cause of death. Also, the timing of Lumumba's murder was rushed to occur before JFK was to
take office – this was no coincidence as JFK was a supporter of Lumumba and the photo of JFK
opportunity.

@emmanuelk.tambwe2628 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

Congo should have turned completely away from the West…..The West is the source of all the troubles in the Congo

All the problems that the DR Congo still faces today can be traced to the assassination of Lumumba. The United States of America was back then, and remains to this day, the biggest threat to global peace and security, and an even bigger threat to the peace, prosperity, self-determination and true independence of the African people.

@louisanyanwu1829 March 21, 2025 - 11:43 pm

“It’s assassination”? That coming from the director says it all

Roy Cohn was also the NY 'five-families' mob lawyer and devout paedophile.
Looks like some interesting viewing coming down the pipeline.
